All
the same great features as unit one
but with lessons that take you to the next level
To
understand the lessons in unit two you are recommended to buy unit
one first.
However if you are not a unit one owner they can be bought together
to save money.
This
unit is made up of 48 guitar lessons, however in this unit the lessons
are broken down into two sets of 6 months. The reason for doing
this is to make the course more easy to follow and allowing the
student to follow a more specialized route through the course. The
2 six month periods are 'Plectrum Style' and 'Finger Picking Style'.
The
Second unit contains;
• 12+ printable e-books
all the guitar lessons, tunes and exercises in PDF
format, plus a theory PDF of all the theory so far.
• interactive
guitar lessons
with lessons and exercises on your CD.
This time all the important
exercises be clicked to hear how the guitar should sound.
• backing tracks
play along with or help you with tunes you don't know •
videoguitar
lesson In this unit there are two videos. One video
covers plectrum style issues and the other covers fingerpicking
issues.
•
a new metronome
this
metronome covers speeds from 40 to 220 bpm, and double time
clicks for speeding up exercises.
•
a guitar tuner so you can develop
an ear for the guitar
•
a backing player so can listen to the
backing directly from the program
•
chord and scale charts In this unit the chord
and scale chart don't have sound, because the student should
be at a level where it is no longer necessary.
•
*** NEW - the Fret Guide the ultimate guide
to the neck.
The
Guitars menu is a guide to guitar parts. In order to provide
a complete guide we have used a spectrum of guitars, a classical,
a folk, an electro-acoustic, a semi-acoustic, and a solid
electric guitar.
A
more detailed description of the job of the various parts
of a guitar is also given, and a guide to the special effects,
amplifiers, strings and plectrums.
Interactive
chord chart
The interactive chord chart and scale charts in this unit
go into far greater depth than charts in Unit one. They also
contain more chords and scales than you will need for this
unit. However by the time you have completed this unit your
independence as a guitarist should be at a level where you
are teaching yourself new tunes and techniques.
The
chord and scale charts contain
First positions barre chords
Second position barre chords
Open chords
all the blues scales you need
and
all the modal scales you need.
Professional lessons
The best thing about the GCH Guitar Academy guitar course
is that the guitar lessons have been developed over more than
fifteen years, with guitar students. If you have studied unit
one then you will be aware of the quality of the course anyway.
Many courses available on the internet are simply collections
of information and tunes with no structure, or guitar players
trying to share their knowledge with no teaching experience.
In
this unit the course is not only broken down into weeks and
months, but also two 6 month sections. This is so you can
study plectrum and fingerpicking style in more depth to give
you a complete understanding of the guitar.
If
you learn to play the guitar properly, you will never need
a chord chart and new tunes will be easier to learn.
*** NEW NEW NEW ***
The
neck guide
The neck guide contains a chord guide and an interactive guide
to the neck. Simply select the key you want to play in and
the scales (modes or blues), and the neck guide displays all
the possible scales you can use. This is ideal for guitarists
who want to improvise in various keys.
The
neck guide is provided as a stand alone application which
also contains all the scale charts and the chord chart. This
is an invaluable reference source, if you are intending to
experiment with improvisation and song writing in different
keys and positions around the neck.
Printable
PDF e-books
Because many of the lessons are more detailed and will take
more time for you to study and practice to get perfect, the
PDF e-books in this unit are even more essential than in unit
one. You can print them out on any A4 printer and study them
in your own time with or away from your computer.
The
e-books reflect the contents of the CD-ROM, but with greater
detail.
There
are 14 e-books with this unit, one for each month of lessons
and an extra e-book dedicated to theory. As well as these
e-books is an e-book of printable blank templates of tablature
and chord charts for you to fill in as you need them.
